Christmas 2008

All I wanted for Christmas and did I get it? NO!!! I keep telling my dad he would have LoTs better chances of giving me away if he was doing it with a BIG, SHINY, SPARKLY, DIMOND RING. He just doesn't get it....You gotta give them sorta incentive!

Ok so apparently Tan and I were the only ones ready for the picture. Its ok, we're the pretty ones anyway.Christmas EVE- Addie is pretty much a natural at the picture thing. Although 99% of the pictures are of her own eye since she faces the lens at herself most the time (interesting, Sounds just like someone else i know. But hey, i can't help if the camera loves me :-P)


So last year we were pretty much amazing and went hot tubing and then Jordyn had a BrIlLIaNt idea to go snowmobiling in our swim suits. So we did it again. I think the snow level was about the same (which was deep), the temp still below O and us girls just as stupid as last year! Check, we had everything we need to make it a great time. But this time it was DARK outside and on Christmas EVE and friends were coming over for the festivities in 30 mins. Um I wasn't happy at then end of my ride, I was frozen city! And I'm pretty sure more than 1 four letter word came out of my mounth...........
SNOW FORTS!


So every night we pretty much made a different fun treat. Thats right folks, the Hills all have a common goal.......EAT. We're chubby Chasers what can we say. So this is Lauren mixing the fondant for DippinG ChocholateS. And us frosting cookies......mmmmmmm.
This was Lauren and I attempting to get the CHICKEN for soup out of the boiling water but it was falling apart. Well apparently when I so kindly volunteered to boil the chicken I was a little too busy making it walk on the counter and chase people around, that I forgot that I was SUPPOSE to know that you're SUPPOSE to take its GUTS out.....PPAAAHHHHLEEEAAASSSE mom, like I boil GIANT chickens all the time?
Mamma Donna=Amazing, This GORGEOUS lady is where our Olive skin comes from. She is pretty much a total Babe. A shrinking Babe but none the less a Babe! Just ask my Grandpa :)

GigerBread house Contest! Um we made a DOUBLEWIDE. It was pretty Funny. So this was the FiRsT of ThReE Christmas Parties that Addie attended with me this weekend. The Girl was out of control by the end of the weekend. She was throwing her head back and Shimming her little chest while yelling "Ya, Christmas PAAARRRTTYYYY." I kid you not. It was hilarious.Christmas tree shopping, $10 to the first person who can guess how excited dad was for this!!!!

The Talent Show (can we really call it that?)

OK So pretty much I'm a total failure at blogging. I haven't done it in like oh you know 3-4 months so here goes.

The best part of 2008 was that I got to go home for Thanksgiving and Christmas! I don't know how on earth I lucked out, but I did. The crappy thing... that for thanksgiving i was sick. But of course i was because i had been sick for like a month and on my second round or antibiotics (this is what you get for working in a hospital, where its a breeding ground for disease. And for those of you wondering, NO they don't care if nurses are sick, they make us work anyway!) So since we had the JoY of having about 50ish people at the house, I became HERMIT woman and never left my parents bedroom....... So here were some of the Thanksgiving highlights!

So we did a Family Talent Show! And it was hilarious. Our family took it away from "family
show" and did JiNgLe BeLl RoCk (Means Girls Version, haha)

Skeet Shooting, Wahoo, I'm Classy! This is for all of those people out there that think i'm the girly-est girl out there (ok so pretty much everyone thinks that)! Now if you can look past the fact that i'm in a ruffely apron while shooting a shotgun you would see that I've got GREAT FORM! Ok not really, like I even know what that is in this sport. But I did hit a pigoen (And I was one of the two girls that did, and NO it wasn't pure luck. I've got SkIlLs you've never seen. CLEARLY)

We were sad that Kassies and Danis families weren't able to make it this year! But boy did we have fun without you.............The best SURPRISE we found out about that day was........Dani is prego again (little hussy) And now that its been forever since I updated, we also know she's
having a BOY!!! OH BOY what do we do with one of those?

Ok so she may not be my biological child but she defiantly has a little of me in her! She loves BIG jewlery! When she gets to my house she goes to my earring board and picks out pair to put on! I go to her house and off comes my jewlery and onto Addie it goes.......the funniest is that she doesn't like her moms, she'll only wear mine! So when i told Addie she looked like Auntie Run Run the other day she made this face!!!! She would...........

Apples, apples and more apples!

CARAMEL APPLES

So one of the things that makes OCTOBER my FAVORITE month is that there are so many yummy treats! Caramel apples probably being the best. So every Oct Danny and I make apples with White Chocholate and Cinnamon and other yummy candy on them..So good! This was Addies first year of joining in the fun...the best was when were were unwrapping the caramels. She did good the first couple and then started eating them! She starting eating her apple pre-carameled too, she was too excited and couldn't wait!

Arizonia State Fair

So we hit up the Arizonia State Fair a few weekends ago. We went to the Weezer concert which was pretty funny, (odd little men), walked around and watched all the CARNIES and then we pretty much just ate all the good food. Because lets be honest thats what the fair is all about! P.S Biggest bags of cotten candy EVER!
